PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
- How long have you been in real estate?
I’ve been licensed since January 2024 - What made you decide to become a realtor?
I want to help first-time homebuyers realize their dream of homeownership. I want to let everyone know that this major milestone is very attainable! - What areas or neighbourhoods do you specialize in?
It’s hard not to fall in love with the North Shore. Breathtaking nature, tight knit communities, serene neighbourhoods, I want to share this with as many people as I can reach. - What types of properties do you most frequently work with?
I work with residential properties.
- What is your background and certification?
Before Real Estate, I was a Software Engineer working in the Video Game Industry. I aim to use my experience with crafting experiences to help clients have a fun and enjoyable time with what could otherwise be a stressful experience.
PERSONAL INSIGHTS
- What do you enjoy most about working in real estate?
I enjoy getting to know the locals in an area and having a more intimate glimpse at specific neighbourhoods. I love seeing the joy in my client’s eyes when they finally find the perfect property. - Can you share a memorable experience or success story from your real estate career?
I remember spending an entire day on a viewing tour with a client, viewing so many houses that were either missing something or had a specific detail that they couldn’t commit to. We ended the day with a property that was not even part of the tour schedule! I was notified then and there, and after the go-ahead from the listing agent, I opened the door for my client; she took three steps in and said, “This is it.” I can still remember the joy and anticipation in her eyes, and that same evening, we sent a winning offer. - What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?
I enjoy cooking, but more than that, I love eating! I also absolutely enjoy board games; they are such an amazing way to connect with my friends, all within a fun and exciting setting. - Do you have a personal motto or philosophy regarding real estate?
Confidence in every step. For such a large investment, everything has to make sense. My goal is to impart confidence in my clients as they make every decision regarding the purchase of their new home by providing them with thorough knowledge and counsel.
WORKING STYLE
- How do you approach helping clients buy or sell their homes?
I offer my clients my full attention as I help them navigate their real estate goals. I will be understanding and patient and ensure that their assets and interests are fully protected. - What can clients expect when working with you?
Clients can expect dedication and energy from me, and I promise to do my best and more to help them achieve their goals. - How do you stay updated with the latest market trends and changes in the real estate industry?
This is such a crucial part of being a Realtor, and stockpiling knowledge like this is a sure way to be an amazing agent. I myself subscribe to newsletters and follow important social media pages, like the Bank of Canada and other large financial institutions and persons of note so that I can get the latest news that could have economic impacts on the real estate industry. I actively search and follow trends of recent sales and new active listings within specific neighbourhoods and give them a thorough study so that I can use the knowledge when pricing properties or writing offers.
CLIENT RELATIONS
- How do you build trust with your clients?
First and foremost, I bring my genuine self. I really want to help my clients achieve their dreams, and by being true to that, I can show them that I am looking out for them and that they can trust my advice. - How do you communicate with clients throughout the buying or selling process?
I am always happy to have a conversation regarding real estate trends and processes. To my clients, this means regular updates balanced with frequent check-ins to make sure we are still on the same page and heading towards our goal. I make myself available at all times, and I ensure that there is a two-way street when it comes to communications. Afterall, no one likes being talked at!
MARKET INSIGHTS
- What tips do you have for homeowners looking to sell their property?
Price right. Technology has brought all the necessary information to buyers, readily available, right at their fingertips. The more dedicated buyer will have a plethora of sources of information for anything they might need, and they will be more motivated to commit to a property that is more reasonably priced. - How do you help clients determine the right price for a property?
There is an infinite number of reasons as to why a buyer would price a property different compared to another buyer for the same property, which makes pricing that much more complex! What I do for my clients is I bring an objective view to the property, find the features that appeals most to the target buyer, and use that as a basis for the price. Finding the ideal client profile is key to getting the most value out of your property.
PERSONAL FAVORITES
- What is your favourite part of your job?
I love getting to know people, learning about their lifestyles, and finding the perfect property and neighbourhood that will bring the most satisfaction to their lives. I love hearing them talk about the different plans and aspirations they have as they imagine a joyful life in the perfect home. - Do you have a favourite type of property to work with?
All of them! Each client’s needs vary drastically, and I like helping them find the perfect fit in whichever type of property best fits their best interest. - What’s your favourite local spot or hidden gem in the area you serve?
Hardly a hidden gem, but I absolutely adore how cozy Edgemont Village is. There are cool shops, local cafes with delicious pastries, great restaurants, the local library, and a short walk from a cute cabin in the woods; what more can I ask for? - What has been your experience at INITIA?
INITIA has been nothing short of amazing; they have welcomed me and helped
me in so many ways as a solo agent. I couldn’t be happier with my brokerage. - What advice would you give to someone looking to buy a home?
Talk to a Realtor. I can’t stress enough the value of working with a professional for what could be the biggest investment of your life. You’ll get the latest industry news, up-to-date property listings, and sound, professional advice, all at no cost to buyers! Seriously, find a Realtor who understands your wants and needs; they will be your best resource when it comes to anything Real Estate.
